Welcome to my website

(27.11.14) - I have created this site to promote the various music projects in which I am involved.

At the time of writing it is in a basic form but will be updated as and when I have more information and some videos for each project. I am still getting used to editing and adding to the site.

 

(23.01.15) - I have added some videos now of YoYo, Brass Routes and the Zimmermen. In due course I will be trying to add some audio recordings of the bands and on my own behalf.

Incidentally, if you go to the contact page you will see the name Erika Kayne. I have no idea who she is! I suspect she may be something to do with WIX where the website was created - which incidentally is pretty good and easy to use, even for me!

 

(25.1.15) - I have added a page for Joules the Band. Initially it contains a brief history of the band but in due course will include some tracks recorded at Cavalier Studio in Stockport in 1985 by Joules mark 2 and some recorded in 1982 by Joules mark 1. There are some concert recordings by both bands but at this stage I don't propose to upload them to the site: it might clog it up too much!

 

(20.3.15) - I have added pictures of Joules the Band mark 2 and of the Zimmermen.

I have discovered that the sound recordings I want to add to this site are all audio format and need to be mp3 format. I am locating the "instruction book" to deal with this! I have also updated the gigs on the News page. Aren't I clever!

 

(26.5.15) - Details of some of these projects are on www.band-me-up.com except for the Echoes which I have not yet created a page for. I will do so when there are pictures/videos available. The Echoes play 60s pop/rock. It's a four piece band comprising singer, drums, bass/vocals and (me!) guitar/vocals.

Oh, and I have now added audio examples of Joules the Band 1 and 2.

I also deputise on bass or guitar (currently guitar) with Tourguide. As and when I can get any pics/videos etc I will create a page for that band also.

 

(07.6.15) - I have added a video to the YoYo page showing our first "go" at One Direction's "Night Changes". 

 

(01.8.15) - I have recently started playing again with Tourguide (a pop/rock covers band). In due course I will open a page and add videos  as and when I can get acceptable ones! I used to be their dep bass player but recently have been playing guitar again with them, which I like best.   There are also some new videos of YoYo on that page.

 

(08.02.16) - I have deleted a couple of videos from the YoYo page which I considered not appropriate since they were first plays of the relevant song.

I have also added a page for The Echoes, a 60s band I have recently started playing with. There are 2 pictures and in due course if I obtain suitable videos they will be added.
